Introduction
The UtechSmart SATA Hard Drive Docking Station is the perfect solution for easy docking and undocking of your single bare or internal HDD/SDD SATA drives.Connect to your 2.5/3.5 inch SATA drive at SuperSpeed USB 3.0 transfer rates (up to 10x as fast as USB 2.0).Latest firmware with USB Attached SCSI support for maximum performance. Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 at their native speeds. Practical transfer rates with USB 3.0 will vary by machine.
Simple SATA drive dock
Lightweight and simple design so it's easy to connect and use. Simply slide drives gently into top of docking station,with SATA connectors aligned.Do not exert force. Drives will attach and rest on the SATA connector with the drive centered in the dock,with space for airflow on all sides.
Power button on station provides you with easy access power control.
No drivers required: uses standard USB mass storage class support already provided in Windows XP and later, Mac, and Linux. LED reports drive activity. Power switch allows drive to be turned on/off independently.

Usage Tips
* Do not attempt to remove your HDD or SSD device while it is active. Please power off the docking station before removing.* Active use may result in expected surface temperatures up to 50�C or 120�F. Please take caution when removing your drive.
* Note for Mountain Lion (10.8) users: If you are experiencing formatting problem, please note that this is unrelated to the performance of the dock.You may try reformatting your disk to the FAT32 format on another operation system.

IDsonix SuperSpeed SATA Hard Drive Docking Station from Bizarkdeal
As the title says, it's well built. I am using it for my backup drive to store media. Doesn't take up space on my drive, and I am in love with the USB 3.0 technology it has. The transfer rate is fast when I'm backing up my music. I was worried about the power supply producing noise but I was wrong. It's very quiet when its operating.
I recommended this product to a friend who wants to backup his laptop to an extra HDD he has, showed him how it works and he loves it! I would recommend it to you if you backup a lot of data.
