The enclosure is compatible with all SATA 2.5" hard drives (up to 15mm) and is powered using bus power; eliminating the need for a power adapter. The solid black enclosure features a unique aluminum body engineered to effectively dissipate heat and allow for maximum protection of your installed hard drive. This model is also capable of powering from an eSATAp port using a single cable connection (requires eSATA + DC power cable at Amazon item B00461595U).
